Exploring for polymetallic Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu deposits in central Peru
Tayco Pacific Resources S.A.C.
- The project is located on the Ingemmet: Metallogenic Belt XX - porphyry Cu-Mo-Au, Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag skarns and polymetallic deposits related to Miocene intrusives - hosting many operating mines and projects (e.g. Mina Santander, Mina Iscaycruz, Proyecto Ariana)
- Structurally and lithologically controlled polymetallic Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu (±Au) mineralisation potentially occurring in veins, mantos and larger bodies
- Favourable host lithologies present such as the Cretaceous Jumasha Formation limestones and the Goyllariszquiza Group
- Favourable structural intersections for the location of mineralised bodies
- Possible porphyry mineralisation at depth (requires investigation): presence of small, altered (phyllic - pyrite, silica, chlorite) intrusives as bodies and dykes, possibly representing the very top of a deeper igneous system.
